Columnar cactus has a beautiful spiral which is a welcome addition to any dessert scape or sunny window. Extremely architectural plant! It is very low maintenance and adds prominence to any home or landscape. It can grow up to 12 feet tall in the wild and can fruit and flower if treated properly. 

Climate - Native to arid regions of South America

 

Soil - Well-draining , sandy soil. Can use cacti/succulent blend

Humidity - Prefers dry environment. 

Temperature - Prefers warm environment

Fertilizer - Fertilize once monthly at most in spring and summer with a cactus fertilizer mixed at ½ strength
